"We checked out early and switched hotels. Our balcony door opened even when locked, the place was not maintained well, you need to pay for everything, eg. €4 daily charge for access to the room safe. When we checked out the receptionist hadn’t come in for the day, the cleaners said they show up late all the time and we would need to come back to drop off the key and hope the reception was open. There are better hotels nearby."

"There is literally no road to this hotel. The staff was kind but there's nothing to do in the area. The bay close by is super dirty and smelly. There's trash collecting area nearby, very smelly and ugly. The room had open windows so we ended up with a lot of funny bites, lasted a week to pass. Would never go back!"

When I arrived at 11am from the airport, the rude staff refused to allow me to leave my suitcase, relax by the pool or even remain on the property until the official check-in time of 3pm, unless I sat in the bar. "Brise Marine was perfectly located in the southern part of Martinique, where the snorkeling is amazing. The bungalos was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were delicious and caringly delivered to our front porch, which had a view of the water. We swam and snorkeled right from the beach at Brise Marine. The people who work there were very helpful. It's an easy walk into the charming town of St Luce, where there was live music by the pier. We would definitely stay again. "
